Government of India' has identified BIS a sole agency In India to operate this scheme. BIS hallmarking Scheme is voluntary in nature and is operating under BIS Act, Rules and Regulations. The recognition to an Assaying and Hallmarking Centre is given against BIS criteria.

Walmart

Walmart supplier code is a supplier selection / qualification standard established and owned by Walmart for ensuring implementation Health, safety and Social justice standard by their suppliers (Vendors). 3 categories of audit.

SA-8000

This certification system provides guidelines on Social Accountability, Equal Justice, Benefits and facilities, which has to be provided to workers. It is a non accredited certification.

RJC(COP & COC)

The Responsible Jewellery Council is a not-for-profit, standards setting and certification organisation. It has more than 700 Member companies.
